Grant Marylander

Grant practices in the areas of estate and advance care planning, consumer protection, employment law (management), contract negotiation and drafting, and general corporate matters. Grant has extensive experience as both in-house and outside general counsel in areas of labor, regulatory matters, corporate governance and marketing.

Grant is a member of the California, Colorado and Nebraska (inactive) bars and is admitted to practice before the 8th, 9th and 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Arizona, California (Central District) Colorado and Nebraska. Grant is a member of the California Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and the Boulder Bar Association. Grant is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Grant earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1985 where he graduated with honors. Grant earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1982 where he graduated with highest honors. He earned his Masters of Arts in Pastoral and Spiritual Care at the Iliff School of Theology and was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Pastoral and Spiritual Care in 2016.

In addition to his legal practice, Grant is a palliative care chaplain/palliative care coordinator at Boulder Community Health. He also serves on BCH’s Ethics Committee and is the Palliative Care Representative for Rocky Mountain Cancer Center’s Cancer Care Committee. He regularly speaks and writes about advance care planning and how to ensure our goals and wishes are honored at End of Life.

Elise Marylander

Elise practices in the areas of estate planning, copyright, trademark, general corporate matters and consumer protection compliance.

Elise is a member of the California and Colorado bars, and is admitted to practice before the 9th and 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Central District of California and the District of Colorado. Elise is a member of the California Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder Bar Association, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Industry Council for Tangible Assets.

Elise earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1985. At Loyola, Elise was an editor of the Loyola Entertainment Law Journal. Elise earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1982.

Elise has been an active member of charitable service organizations including Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County where she served as President.
